WILD ADVENTURE

Our Wild Learners programme for Term 1 2025 runs on two seperate afternoons- Monday from 12pm to 3pm for the younger learners (~4 to 7 year olds), and Tuesday from 12pm to 3pm for older learners (~8 + year olds).

MONDAYS: WILD (LITTLE) LEARNERS

Our afternoons are full of learning and exploration. Mondays are for nature-based holistic learning, focusing on gentle exploration of the Wild World around us, learning about local flora and fauna, safe play in the outdoors, as well as incorporating early literacy and numeracy through play and story. 

We run an 'emergent curriculum'- which means that each day evolves based on the groups interests, needs and strengths. 

 

TUESDAYS: WILD LEARNERS

Tuesdays are for adventure... with a mix of forest school philosophies, place-based learning and Outdoor Education, our Wild Adventures are full of excitement. With a focus on Outdoor Survival and Adventure skills, students can expect to gain skills in bushcraft and outdoor recreation while they learn about New Zealand's unique and beautiful natural ecosystems.
